Movie Story:

For ten idyllic decades, youthful Mija continues to be caretaker and constant companion to Okja – a massive creature and an even more significant buddy – at her house in the hills of South Korea. But this changes once family-owned, multinational conglomerate Mirando Corporation chooses Okja for themselves and transports into New York, in which an image-obsessed and self-promoting CEO has big plans for Mija’s dearest friend. Without a specific strategy but single-minded in goal, Mija lays out on a rescue mission.
